Key features for Ethereum
Swap, Bridge, and Earn
Swap tokens, bridge them to 33 other networks, and lend them to DeFi protocols, without leaving FxWallet.
Adjustable fee and speed
Choose Slow, Normal or Fast, or set the max fee and priority fee yourself, and speed up or cancel a pending transaction.
Warnings before you sign
FxWallet flags risky tokens, look-alike addresses and risky contracts, and lists your approvals so you can revoke them.
Feature availability
- Send and receive
- One
0xaddress, the same on every EVM network. You can send to an ENS name as well as an address. - Tokens
- ERC-20 tokens. Assets Discovery finds tokens you hold that are not on your home screen, and you can add any other by its contract address.
- NFTs
- See and send ERC-721 and ERC-1155 NFTs. ERC-1155 NFTs are sent one at a time.
- Fee options
- Choose Slow, Normal or Fast, or set the max fee and priority fee yourself. A pending transaction can be sped up or cancelled.
- Swap
- Trade one token for another on Ethereum with Swap. A swap takes place within one network.
- Bridge
- Move tokens between Ethereum and 33 other networks with Bridge.
- Earn
- In Earn, lend tokens to DeFi protocols through Yield Products. The app shows each product’s protocol, rate and risk level; rates change and are not guaranteed.
- Hardware and cold wallets
- Sign on a Keystone or a Goldshell by scanning QR codes, or on an offline phone in cold wallet mode. See Hardware & Cold Wallets.
- DApps and WalletConnect
- Open DApps in Discover, or connect to DApps on your computer with WalletConnect.
- Private keys and watch wallets
- Import a wallet by its private key, or follow any
0xaddress as a watch wallet. - Risk warnings
- Warnings for risky tokens and NFTs, for scam, sanctioned and look-alike addresses, and for risky contracts. Approvals lists and revokes what you have approved, and spam transactions are hidden.
Not available on EthereumPay fees without ETH
- Pay fees without ETH
- Fees on Ethereum are paid in ETH. Gas Cards cover BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism.
Important notes
- Keep some ETH for fees. Every transaction on Ethereum pays its fee in ETH, token transfers and swaps included. See Not enough gas for a transaction.
- The same address on every EVM network. Your Ethereum address is also your address on BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum and the other EVM networks. A token sent on another network arrives there, not on Ethereum, so check the network before you send or withdraw. See I sent crypto on the wrong network.
- Approvals last until you revoke them. Approve only what a DApp needs, and revoke what you no longer use. See Token approvals.
Questions
In the help center
Can I move my wallet from MetaMask or another Ethereum wallet?
Yes. Import its mnemonic phrase: FxWallet derives EVM accounts on the same path as MetaMask (m/44'/60'/0'/0/n), so the addresses match. You can also import a single account by its private key, or follow an address as a watch wallet.
Can I set my own gas fee on Ethereum?
Yes. On the confirmation screen, tap Gas Fee and choose Slow, Normal or Fast, or Custom to set the max fee and the priority fee in gwei. A pending transaction can be sped up or cancelled. See Gas fees and Gas Card.
Can I connect FxWallet to DApps on my computer?
Yes, with WalletConnect: scan the DApp’s QR code in FxWallet and approve each request on your phone. On your phone, open DApps in Discover. See Connect to a DApp with WalletConnect.
