Stake ATOM

Stake with the validators you choose, move your stake to another validator without unstaking, and claim or reinvest the rewards of all your validators at once.

Memo for exchange deposits

When you send ATOM, add the memo an exchange gives you, so that it can credit the deposit to your account.

Sign offline

Keep your keys on a Keystone or a Goldshell, or on a second phone kept offline, and sign transactions by scanning QR codes.

Feature availability

Send and receive: Send and receive ATOM from one address, starting with cosmos1. When you send ATOM, the optional Memo field (up to 256 bytes) adds the memo an exchange may ask for.
Batch Transfer: Send to several addresses in one transaction with Batch Transfer, from the Send screen.
Earn: In Earn, stake ATOM with a validator you choose, under Staking. The app shows the minimum and the lock-up period first; rewards change and are not guaranteed.
Hardware and cold wallets: Sign on a Keystone or a Goldshell by scanning QR codes, or on an offline phone in cold wallet mode. Staking is not available with a Keystone or a Goldshell. See Hardware & Cold Wallets.
Private keys and watch wallets: Import a wallet by its private key, in hex or WIF. Watch wallets are for EVM addresses only.
Risk warnings: The recipient of every transfer is checked against known scam and sanctioned addresses. Look-alike address warnings cover EVM networks only.

Tokens: IBC tokens and other tokens on Cosmos Hub are not supported.
NFTs: Cosmos Hub NFTs are not supported.
Fee options: FxWallet sets the fee from a simulation of the transaction, and there are no speed options. A pending transaction cannot be sped up or cancelled, and you cannot send another until it confirms.
Swap: Swap is not available on Cosmos Hub.
Bridge: Bridge is not available on Cosmos Hub.
DApps and WalletConnect: Cosmos DApps and WalletConnect are not supported.

Important notes

Claim your rewards. Staking rewards on Cosmos Hub are not added to your stake automatically: Claim sends them to your wallet, and Reinvest stakes them again with the same validators. See Stake and unstake with Earn.
Unstaking takes 21 days. Unstaked ATOM stays locked for 21 days and earns nothing before it returns to your wallet. To change validators without waiting, use Redelegate: the network limits how often you can, and FxWallet explains the rules before you confirm.
Check the memo before you send. If an exchange gives you a memo, paste it into Memo when you send ATOM: a deposit without it may never be credited. The confirmation screen does not show the memo. See Memo and destination tag.

How do I stake ATOM in FxWallet?

Tap ATOM on the Wallet tab, then Stake, or open Staking in Earn. Choose a validator by its APY and fee, and enter the amount. Rewards are not added automatically: claim or reinvest them from your position. Unstaking takes 21 days. See Stake and unstake with Earn.

How do I send ATOM to an exchange that needs a memo?

On the ATOM page, tap Send, enter the exchange’s address and the amount, and paste the memo it gives you into Memo. Check the memo before you continue: the confirmation screen does not show it. See Memo and destination tag.

Can I move my wallet from Keplr or another Cosmos wallet?

Yes, with its mnemonic phrase: FxWallet derives the first Cosmos Hub account on the same path as Keplr (m/44'/118'/0'/0/0), so its address matches. You can also import a single account by its private key, in hex or WIF.
