Important notes
- C-Chain only. FxWallet supports Avalanche’s C-Chain, where AVAX and its tokens use
0xaddresses. The X-Chain and the P-Chain, whose addresses start withX-avax1andP-avax1, are not supported: when you withdraw AVAX from an exchange, choose the C-Chain. - The same address on every EVM network. Your Avalanche address is also your address on Ethereum, BNB Chain and the other EVM networks. A token sent on another network arrives there, not on Avalanche, so check the network before you send or withdraw. See I sent crypto on the wrong network.
- Approvals last until you revoke them. Approve only what a DApp needs, and revoke what you no longer use. See Token approvals.
Questions
In the help center
Which network do I choose to withdraw AVAX to FxWallet from an exchange?
The C-Chain, which exchanges call AVAX C-Chain or Avalanche C-Chain. In FxWallet the network is called Avalanche: tap Receive and choose AVAX to copy your address, which starts with 0x. Do not choose the X-Chain, which FxWallet does not support. See Deposit or receive crypto.
Can I set my own fee on Avalanche?
Yes. On the confirmation screen, tap Gas Fee and choose Slow, Normal or Fast, or Custom to set the max fee and the priority fee. A pending transaction can be sped up or cancelled. See Gas fees and Gas Card.
Can I move my wallet from MetaMask or another Avalanche wallet?
Yes. Import its mnemonic phrase: FxWallet derives EVM accounts on the same path as MetaMask (m/44'/60'/0'/0/n), so the addresses match. You can also import a single account by its private key, or follow an address as a watch wallet.
