Important notes
- Moving from another wallet. FxWallet uses one address per account, the first legacy address of your mnemonic phrase. Bitcoin that another wallet keeps on other addresses will not show, whether SegWit (
bc1q…,3…), Taproot (bc1p…) or other legacy ones: send it to your FxWallet address from the wallet that holds it. - One transfer at a time. While a Bitcoin transfer is pending, you cannot send another from the same wallet, and you cannot speed it up or cancel it. See Pending or stuck transactions.
- The fee is deducted from the amount. By default, the recipient receives the amount you enter minus the fee. To send an exact amount, tap Change input amount to the received amount on the confirmation screen.
Questions
In the help center
Does FxWallet support SegWit or Taproot Bitcoin addresses?
No. Each FxWallet account has one legacy Bitcoin address, starting with 1, which it uses for receiving and for change. Any wallet or exchange can send bitcoin to it.
Does FxWallet support Ordinals, BRC-20 or Runes?
No. FxWallet holds, sends and receives bitcoin itself. It does not show inscriptions, BRC-20 tokens or Runes.
Can I use a hardware wallet for bitcoin?
Yes. Connect a Keystone or a Goldshell by scanning a QR code and sign each transaction on the device, or use a second phone kept offline in cold wallet mode. FxWallet uses the hardware wallet’s legacy (BIP44) Bitcoin account, so bitcoin on its SegWit or Taproot accounts will not show. See Hardware & Cold Wallets.
